Naundorf lookout tower "Otto's Eck"

Unexpected lookout tower with a special facade

The Moorish-style pavilion and the Italian-style tower were built in 1867. The tower is named after Wilhelm Eduard Otto, who acquired the castle and park in 1846 and not only designed the park but also had the tower built.

From the tower you have a very nice view into the Weißeritz valley. It is one of the few lookout points into this valley.

Since 2001 the local history association "Otto's Eck e.V." has been restoring both Otto's Eck and the park in countless hours of work.

You will find this jewel if you enter the park opposite the castle and then walk about 300m into it.
