Ferries in the Czech Republic
In the Czech part of the Elbe/Labe Euroregion, the river that gives the region its name is crossed by five ferries. Most of them are only passenger ferries, but two also carry vehicles.
Přívoz Malé - Velké Žernoseky

The ferry only operates during the tourist season, usually from May to October. In May, June, September and October, the ferry only runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. In July and August it runs Mon-Thu and Sun from 9 am to 8 pm, Fri/Sat from 9 am to 9 pm.
The ferry departs every half hour, always on the hour and on the half hour.
It transports passengers and cyclists in a small boat for up to 20 people.
Prices: CZK 25 for adults; CZK 15 for young people up to the age of 18; CZK 10 for bicycles, dogs and baby carriages; free for children up to the age of 6. Payment in cash only.

Přívoz Vaňov - Brná

The ferry operates every day from 9:00 to 18:00 from May to the end of October. On public holidays from 9:00 to 20:00.
It departs mainly from the swimming pool in Brna (there is no entrance fee to the swimming pool for using the ferry). On the left bank of the Elbe, the ferry goes to or from Vaňov. On both banks it is also possible to use other embarkation or disembarkation points, e.g. Brná cyclo-camp and Vaňov - anchorage (at the dock of the ship Marie). All by arrangement with the ferryman.

The price for an adult is CZK 15, for a bicycle, a stroller, a child over 6 years of age or a dog the price is CZK 5. Children under 6 and disabled children are free.

Přívoz Neštěmice - Svádov

The ferry between Neštěmice and Svádov runs from Veslařská Street in Neštěmice to Labská Street in Svádov. A Canadian catamaran provides transportation on the river.
The ferry does not have a fixed timetable, it runs daily between 10:00 and 18:00. Passengers must give the ferryman an acoustic signal with a gong.
The ferry can carry up to 12 people. In addition to pedestrians and cyclists, baby carriages and a small motorcycle or scooter can also be taken on board.

Přívoz Velké Březno - Povrly

The Velké Březno - Povrly ferry transports hikers, cyclists, cars and trucks. It is a type of chain ferry that has no engine and uses the current of the river.
The ferry operates all year round and every day. It normally runs Mon-Fri from 7 am to 6 pm and Sat/Sun/Public holidays from 8 am to 6 pm. The last ferry leaves Velký Březno 15 minutes before the end of operating hours.
Přívoz Dolní Žleb

The Dolní Žleb ferry is the northernmost and lowest ferry in the Czech Republic. It transports pedestrians, cyclists, motorcycles and cars up to 12 tons and is open all year round.
The ferry is currently out of service.
Depending on the time of year, it operates Mon-Fri from 7 am and Sat/Sun/holidays from 8 am. The service ends between 6 and 8 pm. You can find out more on the website.
Ferries in Saxony
On the section of the Elbe between Schöna and Heidenau, i.e. from the border to the outskirts of Dresden, there are 10 ferries, numbered F1 to F10 starting from Schöna. There are three ferries in Dresden. All ferries are passenger ferries, only the one in Pillnitz also takes cars.

The VVO tariff applies on all ferries, except on the ferry in Rathen. This must be paid for separately. However, it is also the only yaw rope ferry.
Excursion boats
Hiking boat Bad Schandau and Hřensko
During the summer season, the RVSOE hiking boat travels between Bad Schandau and Hřensko. A special fare applies.

Excursion boat Bad Schandau - Děčín - Ústí nad Labem
Between April and October, the Czech excursion boat line T92 also connects Bad Schandau, Děčín and Ústí nad Labem. The tariff of the Ústecký kraj (DÚK) transport company and the Elbe-Labe ticket apply on the entire route.
