- afterwards cutting of the tunnel with the mayor
- 3:00 p.m. Small Christmas program with children from the Altenberg daycare center
- 4:00 p.m. Christmas brass music with the Liebenau/Fürstenwalde trombone choir
- 5:00 p.m. Lantern parade through Altenberg in the glow of lights with the Altenberg youth fire department
- 6:00 p.m. Erzgebirge Christmas with “de Geisinger Vugelbeeren”
- Ends around 8:00 p.m
Sunday, December 17th, 2023:
- from 12:00 p.m. Christmas market activity on the station forecourt
- from 2:30 p.m. Christmas children's program with Master Klecks
- from 3:00 p.m. Cozy get-together with Christmas music with Charlie's men
- 4:00 p.m. Award ceremony for the 7th Altenberg Cookie Queen or King
- afterwards a cozy get-together
