The picturesque open-air museum awaits you with a themed Christmas exhibition, many craft stalls and workshops for young and old, traditional food, the scent of Christmas, apples and nuts. Discover the magic of the old Czech Christmas, folk customs and traditional fortune-telling.
You will also be reminded of the Advent and Christmas customs of the Bohemian Germans, which were common at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Freshly baked Christmas cake in the tiled stove will make the holy parlor smell fragrant, and for your own home you can be inspired by the traditional decorations with Santa Claus devils, polazy, braids, a tree decorated with apples, nuts or gingerbread. Children can enjoy the tour with tasks on the Christmas trail and use their creative skills in the workshops to make small ornaments. At the school, children will hear Christmas stories and can share sweets with Ambrosius.
