Numerous traders and food offers bustle around the market square of the town of Stolpen, which is bathed in lights during the Christmas market. At their festively decorated Christmas market stalls, visitors can purchase handicrafts and gifts and enjoy a variety of regional and national specialties. Of course, the traditional mulled wine and punch are not to be missed.
The romantic Christmas market in Stolpen is accompanied by the largest book market in the region and a small Advent market in the town's old district court. There are also great hands-on activities for young and old and an extensive additional program.
