The poetic comedy, which won six Czech Lions in 1995 and became the film event of the year, tells the story of Jakub, a man in his thirties who is embroiled in one problem after another. He cannot resolve his relationship with married Tereza, his work is not satisfying and he does not get along with his father, with whom he shares an apartment. He decides to change his life and travels to his grandfather's abandoned house in the country for a few days. Little does he know that his stay in this mysterious place will be prolonged after he meets a mysterious girl... The film is characterized by its picturesque visual language. The film was directed by Martin Šulík and starred Roman Luknár (currently starring in the Czech TV series Invisible). Marián Labuda as the father was awarded the Czech Lion for his performance in the supporting role.
