The music of the original duo Annabelle Plum & Žaneta Vítová (vocals/accordion), now joined by Kateřina Vacková (double bass) to form "KlangWesen", is rich in tonal colors that alternate between everyday banality and intense emotionality. Composed passages merge with free improvisational spheres in which influences from the European musical tradition and the roots of world music come to the fore.
Until a few years ago, Schuberts in Bad Gottleuba was a well-known bakery, which unfortunately closed down. The association Schuberts e.V. has transformed the premises into a cozy jazz club. The motto is small but beautiful, whereby beautiful is to be understood in the sense of improvised. The association is working to develop the club into a lively cultural venue in Bad Gottleuba.
