Following the last regional conference on November 10, 2025, which provided an important opportunity for exchange and networking within the region, we would like to build on that success with a second regional conference and further structure our future collaboration.

The event will focus on our joint path toward the “Kommunalverbund Region Dresden e. V.” and the question of how the Dresden region—comprising 96 cities and municipalities in and across the four districts of Bautzen, Meissen, Central Saxony, and Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains (see attached map), can be specifically strengthened through intermunicipal cooperation. The region’s geographical boundaries at the municipal level are provided for orientation purposes only and do not limit opportunities for participation.
