Concert: Floex feat. Josef the Robot & Never Sol

30.10.2020 • 20:00 • Die Tonne im Kurländer Palais, Dresden

The multimedia artist with the star of the computer game "Machinarium"

Tomáš Dvořák aka Floex [clarinet, synthesizer, electronics], Sára Vondrášková aka Never Sol [vocals], Josef The Robot [drums]

The multimedia artist FLOEX is the man behind the soundtrack of the legendary computer game "Machinarium", which sold over 5 million copies worldwide. To celebrate the game's 10th anniversary, Floex had the main character from "Machinarium", JOSEF THE ROBOT, built as a life-size figure and now has him play drums at his concerts. Man and machine stand together on stage and unfold the unique, atmospheric universe of electro-acoustic music for which Floex is internationally known and appreciated. A highly unusual and special concert awaits us, which will also be crowned by the participation of the singer NEVER SOL .

You can hear pieces from "Machinarium" and the album "Machinarium Remixed", which was created last year with, among others, the British electronic duo Orbital, big fans of Floex's music. Pieces from the sensational album "A Portrait of John Doe", which Floex recorded with the English keyboardist Tom Hodge and the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and which was awarded the Angel Award - the Czech Grammy - will also be presented.
