The project "Our neighbors - country and people II" by Buntes Sebnitz e.V. and the Club of Czech Tourists is entering its second year. Once again, there will be monthly excursions to interesting destinations in the border region. Everyone is invited to come along!
After two excursions to cities, another hike is on the agenda for September. This leads into the famous rock labyrinth of the Tyssa Walls. The sandstone formations, up to 70 meters high, extend over 100 hectares and offer hikers and climbers an impressive natural experience. They are considered one of the main attractions in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and are protected as a national nature reserve.
After arriving in Tysse, we will first have lunch together and then start our hike through the Tysse walls.
Arrival is by train and bus. The meeting point is at 10 a.m. either at Sebnitz or Dolní Poustevna station. We will first travel to Děčín and then by bus to Tyssa.
The return journey takes place according to the bus and train timetable via Děčín with the departure time there at 18.41. Arrival in Sebnitz is at 19.39 and in Dolní Poustevna at 19.45.
Participation is free of charge, but donations are requested. Registration is required.
