Founded in 2023, the Pilsen-based group Kvartet Plamenomet (which means “Flamethrower Quartet” in English) is a cross-genre ensemble with a rotating lineup. Their original work flows seamlessly between the driving grooves of neo-soul and the adventurous spirit of experimental jazz. In their music, they combine complex improvisation, rich sonic textures, and a contemporary compositional approach, creating a captivating musical experience. To date, they have released four live session recordings that perfectly capture the energy of their concerts. In addition, the band plans to release their highly anticipated debut album later this year.
The concert will take place outdoors at the Bürgerhaus (indoors in case of bad weather).
