The Prague-based band Světlem (whose name poetically means “Through the Light”) was formed in 2023 at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague and quickly gained attention with a fusion of alternative pop, folk, and jazz. Their music is built on poetic Czech lyrics, catchy melodies, and innovative harmonies that transport listeners into dreamy moods. In February 2026, they recorded their debut album at the renowned SONO Studio, with its release scheduled for October. A first taste of this album is the single “Tetování” (Tattoo), which presents the band in a completely new visual light.
