Traditional Christmas market on the station forecourt. Various traders and Altenberg clubs are looking forward to your visit. There will also be a varied program:
- various stores along Dippoldiswalder Straße and Rathausstraße will be open
- Santa Claus will be out and about
- Christmas magic at the sportcollection Altenberg with mulled wine tasting and laser biathlon
- small Christmas market at the Raupennest health center incl. shuttle (rehabilitation clinic - train station)
- Hutzenstube and zither music in the tourist information center
- Laser biathlon and quiz on winter sports at the SSV
- Handicrafts, face painting and candy floss with class 11 of the grammar school in the Loipenhaus

- From 12:00 noon - Christmas market on the station forecourt
- 13:30 - Small Christmas program with children from the Altenberg daycare center
- 14:00 - Collection of the giant stollen with the Liebscher family's horse-drawn carriage from the Braun bakery
- afterwards - cutting of the stollen
- 15:00 - Performance by the Altenberg elementary school choir
- 16:00 - Atmospheric Christmas music with the LaurentSingers Dresden gospel choir
- 17:00 - Lantern parade through Altenberg in the glow of lights with the Altenberg youth fire department
- 18:00 - Award ceremony for the 9th Altenberg Cookie Queen and King
- 18:30 - Christmas brass music with the Liebenau/Fürstenwalde brass choir
