Janáček – Mozart – Benda – Dvořák
As has become tradition—marking its 10th anniversary this year—scholarship recipients from the Brücke/Most Foundation and the DAAD will perform together with the North Bohemian Philharmonic Orchestra Teplice as part of the TDKT. The program features works by renowned composers from Czech musical history: Antonín Dvořák’s Bohemian Suite, Op. 39, and Leoš Janáček’s Suite for String Orchestra. Under the direction of Prof. Ekkehard Klemm and students from the conducting class at the Dresden University of Music, the program will also feature Mozart’s Concerto for Horn and Orchestra in E-flat Major, K. 495, with hornist Daniela Roubíčková (class of Prof. Robert Langbein) and Franz Benda’s Concerto for Flute and Orchestra in E minor, featuring flutist Ludmila Eliášová (class of Prof. Stéphane Réty).
