In the Altendorf community centre you will find a small, very informative exhibition about the history of the village and the region, designed by the Altendorf local history association. The permanent exhibition was opened in 2010 and shows among other things a classroom with Altendorf school history, a so-called "guest room" and gives insights into Altendorf's tourism history. The new exhibition, which has existed since 2012, shows interesting, forgotten and rediscovered things under the title "Found in attics and cellars".
