After the local chronicler Marlies Wolf was in possession of the handwritten chronicle and the folder with the collected newspaper clippings about Langenhennersdorf, she received, after a newspaper appeal to the residents, some interesting material. In addition to other local chronicles, these included pictures by Mr. Wunderlich and Mr. Kegel, as well as documents, photos and objects from bygone times. These include laundry mangles or sewing machines. Also some trades, such as tailor, shoemaker, hairdresser, building trade, goldsmith, are exhibited with historical furniture and hand tools.
The Heimatstube was opened on May 17, 2013 and is managed by the Heimatverein Langenhennersdorf e. V.
