Local history museum Höckendorf (Heimatmuseum)

Small museum about normal people's life in Höckendorf in past times.

Since 1995, the local history museum has been housed in a small half-timbered house, a former smithy and residential building, which is located opposite the hotel inn Erbgericht. The museum provides insights into everyday life in the region in the past and offers an extensive and instructive collection of objects of domestic, handicraft and agricultural needs of past times up to the bobbin lace exhibition.

For a small fee the "Höckendorfer Zinnthaler" (tin coin) can be minted here by hand. For a little more money the "Höckendorfer Silbertaler" (silver coin) can be purchased.
