Museum of Bohemian Garnet in Třebenice

Museum on jewellery and gemstones and on Ulrike von Levetzow in former church

The exhibition offers an overview of the mining and processing of Bohemian Garnet and a collection of contemporary and historical jewellery made of Bohemian Garnet. It is particularly worth seeing a replica of Ulrike von Levetzow's jewellery set, which was given to her by Goethe as an expression of his love. The exhibition is complemented by an overview of the history of the town and its surroundings.

Visitors can not only see the Bohemian Garnet, but also collect it directly in front of the museum or in the delivered genuine garnet sand.

The museum is located in the former German town church.
